Well... what did you get/buy/trade for for Christmas?

I figure there are a lot of gifts out there, a lot of variety, and a lot of happy folks. Just itching to do some shooting.

I got this on Saturday, work and weather have conspired to keep me from shooting it. I have no idea of the round count. Minimal wear, great bore. The builder put the headspace measurement on the barrel- I've got to confirm that. It's been 25 years since I've shot the M1A, been thinking about one for a long time. The price was right- straight trade, no out of pocket.

Story goes it was a Marine armorer build, it's all USGI or NM. Solid fibreglass stock, super tight fit, not bedded, sweet trigger.

Lets see some pics, or at the least, some great stories of the gift.

Yep, nice pics. Keep em coming, Christmas ain't over yet.

Rioalumni05, those stocks are out there, but I don't see them much. This thing is solid (heavy), you could hammer nails with it.

HoHoHo to Me

I got this a few weeks back, with the idea that this was my Christmas present to myself. I've since removed the light/laser and replaced with a GGG bipod.

My Son & I are going to the farm with our arsenal this weekend. Somehow, paper just doesn't satiate the shootin' urge.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Have a Safe Holiday.

J&T Distributors sent this to me in less than 2 weeks after I ordered it. It showed up on Christmas Eve! I wasn't expecting it for another month or so. Great Christmas!

It has all matching parts, and the buttstock has the same serial number as the rest of the gun. I got it unissued, covered in cosmoline. The wood is dinged here and there but the metal parts of the gun are perfect. Since the serial number on the stock matches the rest of the gun i'm not going to replace it with a new set of wood furniture.

What's different between the classic norinco and the newer ones? What do you think it's worth? I paid $150.

DanTana - beautiful rifle. I have the original as handed down by my grandpa. By far my favorite rifle in our collection.

Gift from my dad, 1851 Navy .44 cal BP revolver. The gun is used but still in good condition. This is going to be a fun toy!

Pics will be in order in the future, but in the meantime, I didn't get a new gun, rather I got a Scattergun Technologies +2 Magazine extension for my 870 and put it on there tonight.
