I load for 38, 357, 9mm, 308 & 223. What I am looking for in a chrono is accuracy, the display with me on the bench, and easily replacable parts just in case. I am not particular to any brand, but would like to keep it under 100.00. I will be getting one in the next week so please list your reasons for which model you like and any shortcomings as well. After that it will be locating it for the best price then waiting for it. :)

The the Beta Chrony Master meets all of your requirements. It gets close to your $100 max on sale at Midway. Of course there's shipping.

It's small, has a remote display, parts are relatively inexpensive and available.

I've got a PACT XP Professional chronograph and have been very happy with it. Price tag is a higher than you want, but I think it's worth it.

- remote display
- built in printer
- built in ballistic calculator & bullet database
- PC compatible

F1 Master Chrony has done me good for the last couple of years. If...WHEN you shoot it they'll repair/replace it for about half cost.

This comes up at least once a month and there really haven't been any developments in this area in a long time, so using the search is very effective.

Buy the Chrony Gamma and don't look back. Get a cheap photo/video tripod on an auction site (<$10 if you shop a bit).
