I replaced my old PACT chronograph after it served me well for 20 or more years. Finally, it just didnt work anymore and I bought a Shooting Chrony Alpha Master unit. I liked the remote display feature to keep on my bench so I could jot down individual velocities in my notebook during load work ups.
It arrived and I did everything I could to get it to work. No matter what I did including switching to 3 different alkaline batteries, it would not register a single shot. It was plain a simple a defective unit. I am shipping it back and the seller is offering a refund due to it being out of stock.
NOW that I have lost faith in this unit and brand, what should I look at now? I paid $129 for the Shooting Chrony, but don't want to go over $200 on a different chrony. I looked at CED M2 and it looks pretty nice.
Any thoughts on the CED M2?
