The only Uberti I ever had a problem with and had to return was a Cimarron......for fit & finish problems.
I own Uberti guns from Cimarron, EMF, Stoeger, Dixie Gun Works and Taylor's and have handled a bunch more. I can't tell a lick of difference between them, inside or out. Same for a lot of other shooters who own a bunch of these guns. So maybe you guys who think there is a difference can point out what it is.
Can't point out a single thing that makes my Cimarron Bisley .357x7½" any better than the Dixie Gun Works Bisley .44Splx4¾".
Or this Taylor's .32-20, which has nice colors and figured grips.
One of my best fit & finish Uberti's is this 3rd model Dragoon. It came from Dixie Gun Works and was bought by my wife, sight unseen.
Same for this little 1849.
The DGW Dragoon even has better case colors than this Cimarron 1860 Richards Type II.
Nicely finished Uberti Walker from Cabela's.
No discernible difference between this Cimarron 1866 .44Spl.
And this 1873 .38-40 from DGW. Except that this `73 has a little nicer wood. Both are excellent shooters with awful triggers.
