STARTING ABOUT 14 YEARS AGO I BEGAN SHOOTING
Cimarron sixguns [ or as my pal calls 'em cinnamon sixguns ] Since then I have put nearly 40,000 rounds through them in 32-20, 38SPL, 357MAG, 38-40, 44-40, 44SPL, 45S&W, and 45COLT. The only problems I have had were a couple of broken cylinder bolt springs in the 38-40 and one of the 357MAGS. This spring is easily replaced and once done with the more modern designed spring I have never broke another.
All of the guns are accurate, smooth handling, and decently put together. It is important to note that Mike Harvey, the owner of CIMARRON has the guns built to his standards which are much higher than the run-of-the-mill Uberts were. Now that Beretta has purchased the Uberti company I would suspect all of the guns will be built to a higher standard and the el cheapo versions will go by the wayside.
