Hi all:

Due to high prices (esp. for ammo) at the Lexington gun shows, I'll now be heading up to the Bill Goodman gun shows, instead.

I'm going to be at the next one this weekend, probably on Saturday. If anyone's going to be there, it's at the Sharonville Convention Center. $7 admission, and here's the address:

11355 Chester Road
Sharonville, Ohio 45246

Anyone going to be there?

(If I can't find what I'm looking for, I'm going to try the next weekend at the Hara Arena in Dayton.)

Edit: I'm also going to be selling some stuff. I have an unused box of .45 and a box of .380, if anyone here wants dibs let me know, we can work something out. Also, I'm also selling brass - either post here or PM me with any requests.

I may go to find some 30mm rings and some jerkey.

There's usually one one vendor there that sells 5.11 gear for internet prices too.

Went there on Saturday morning. Prices on ammo are finally reaching acceptable levels. (They're about 30% lower than they are currently in Lexington, and about 50% off their panic-highs). I picked up a case of 8mm for a hundred dollars (same price at AIM just up the road).

I may pull some more money out and head up to Dayton next week anyway, even if I do have everything I currently need right now. There's always stuff I'd *like* to have... :D

Not a single A2 buttstock for sale in the whole show.

No 30mm rings that weren't Chinese crap.

Lots of good deals on FTF used guns.
  • NIB 4" 586-nothing (no M stamp)- $600
  • Ruger 3 screw single six, no mod- $300
  • NIB Taurus Tracker, 6" .22lr- $300 ( I almost pulled the trigger!)
  • Lots of NIB AR's for $700-$900

People were cleaning out the closets "in this economy."
