While reading and doing general surfing in another thread, I noticed someone mention Class III. As I am ignorant to this, can someone inform me on all that pertains to Class III?

Bleeve Class III includes all the NFA stuff - short barrelled rifles/shotguns, supressors, AOW's, etc., in addition to auto/select fire.

I was looking for something a little bit more detailed. Such as: What weapons does Class III consist of and how can I get a weapon or accessory that belongs in Class III?

Things like MP5's and Thompson submachine guns, etc. Belt fed machine guns, like 1919A4's, or MG42's etc., Short barreled shotguns, like the Witness Protection types, Short barreled rifles, Suppressors, all sorts of fun stuff.
Depending on where you live and what your states rules are, you need to do some federal paper work, get some passport photos and fingerprints, your local Chief of Police or Sheriff, etc needs to sign, and you need to send a check for $5 for an Any other Weapon or $200(this is the "tax") for for the rest and wait a couple of months while they do the background checks.

While we're on the subject, what's class II? Or class I for that matter? I seem to remember that Class I was an FFL and II allowed you to build your own guns, but I'm probably wrong . . .

Newt, Class III refers to the type of FFL for which one may qualify. Title II refers to the weapon type (those covered by the NFA which was re-codified into the SSA of '68 as Title II).
Title I=non-NFA weapons
Title II=NFA weapons
Class III=a type of FFL required in order to transaction interstate commerce in most NFA weaponry, does not reference the weapons.
In commone usage, people say "Class III" when they mean "Title II". As Brownie points out, they usually mean to reference "machine guns." Sort of like Xerox and photocopy.
