Wow. Just saw these on their page...they look pretty nice! Hard chromed, it looks like.

Tempting. Jules' gun in Pulp Fiction was a chromed Star B. Just need the pearl grips. :D

They also had at least one Yugo SKS that had been hardchromed...

I don't have any of their chromed guns, but I have done business with them and definitely would again. Good folk.

Interesting... is hard chroming oddball guns an in thing to do right now? Today in a local shop I saw an 8mm FN-49 that had been hard chromed, (or maybe it was electroless nickel, didn't ask) and I couldn't figure out why anyone would really want to do that. The Stars are a little neater.

Classic Arms evidently found a good deal on hard-chroming and has been selling some of their mil-surplus stuff hard-chromed.

I don't think it's started any kind of a trend...YET. ;)

If you can find pearl grips for a Star B, let me know.:)

Now I want a chromed one, too.

Some of the guns are bluing challenged.
A great way to generate some revenue on otherwise bargan basement guns.

I definitely want one of the Star Model Bs

There C&R eligible right?
Haven't had time to learn all the listing in the brand new book the government sent me yesterday:)

They have hard-chromed Mosin-Nagants too.

Anybody got one? They were doing that to CZ52's also.

The CZ-52's went up to $189, which was still a deal, but they sold out before I could order one.

They looked NICE. And I wanted a shiny chrome 7.62x25 range flamethrower. :(

Has anyone bought and fired one? I am concerned somewhat about reliability/accuracy/feed issues, but otherwise am a perfect candidate to pay too much for an old discontinued gun.(Actually I have good luck with Stars-have owned the M43,M45,Star BM )

I got one of their $169 chromed CZ-52's and it looks and shoots great! High quality chrome job.

Most of the chromed CZ-52's I've seen have poor quality grips and holsters but the chrome job is flawless.

Great pix & info, hartzpad. Thanks.

I ordered something <ahem> chromed from them today. Glad to hear they do a good job with it.

Now if I can only find a pearl stock for my chromed SKS...

Have nevr seen pearl and doubt it could be done on a rifle but I have seen a full ivory stock on a Winchester lever action.

I had a nickeled BM

I have a nickeled BM and it was smooth as glass to shoot. Had a few jams but I think was due to the older mag and using the slide release.
