in all of my years of shooting, I have never before had to clean a gun case. all of that changed Tuesday, when I tripped and fell with my rifle in hand. as far as I can tell, the gun is fine. but the outside of the case is pretty dirty. it is a Smith and Wesson black, AR-15 cloth case. I can not imagine putting it in the wash machine. the only thing I can come up with is either the vacuum cleaner and or wiping it down with a damp cloth. but I figure that it is cheap enough to ask here if there is a better way to clean it.
