Lotsa places...
I recently went through a box of .380 WWB and a box of .380 Win-Clean ammo as part of the break in on a Kel-Tec P3AT and I thought I would share the difference between the two.

I used the 90 grn ammo in two separate range sessions to see if the gun was considerably cleaner after 50 rounds. After the 50 USA WWB the gun was as dirty as usually expected, requiring solvent and heavy scrubbing to remove the fouling. After 50 of the Win-clean the gun was just about spotless. All it took to clean the gun was some oil on a brush for a few passes and a lightly oiled cloth wipe-down.

I've used 124 grn 9mm Win clean with similar results.

I didn’t take photos of the gun at the time but you can tell the difference by looking at the cases I saved:

WWB on the right and Win-clean on the left…

.357 on a rabbit? Couldn't lug the .50 out to the field?

My experience with Winclean has been the same. Indoor I must shoot Winclean and i shoot a lot of .40 S&W out of my stainless Sig P226. Easy clean up. Anything else presents more of a chore.

For the difference in price between the WWB and the Win-Clean, I can hire someone to clean my guns.

I wonder if win-clean is very underpowered for all of it's clean properties?
Has anyone tested for a penetration comparison of white box and win-clean?

Win clean .45acp brass uses a small primer. I reload mine. When I buy factory ammo it is for the brass. 'Course i have to shoot it first before I can make ammo out of it ...

I do not want to deal with 2 sets of primers for the same gun.

Our IDPA league has to use win clean(we're indoors)and it is really clean. We can use other "clean fire" too.....Remington is pretty clean,CCI blazer is not as clean and smells and has a huge fireball(.45) when shooting in low/no light.
I've found the Winclean 9mm to be good,38's seem to have hard primers(some guys tinkered w/ revos have FT fires)and the .45's don't feed well in some guys 1911's....all my guns eat them like candy. It is more expensive, but it sure makes cleaning real easy.I really notice it when I go outside and shoot the cheap stuff.

I view Winclean or WWB as practice ammo only so penetration is not an issue. I do not feel it is underpowered, but that's a subjective opinion based on shooting WWB and Winclean along with other Defense rounds. They all seem to kick about the same, except Doubletap and Fiocchi. Those two seem to be a little hot.
