Cleaning a Mosin Nagant 91/30 bolt

I have been reading and it appears to me that disassembling the bolt would be unnecessary for proper cleaning.

First cleaning on a Mosin I will take the bolt to pieces and clean/oil everything. Reassemble and use the screwdriver tool to check firing pin protrusion. After that, usually just the bolt head and outside of the bolt.
