I have a Seecamp LWS .32 that I use as a daily carry piece. I rarely shoot it, maybe 24-30 rounds every couple of months to test it's functioning. I was wondering how other Seecamp owners clean their's after shooting it? It's certainly not one of the easiest pistols to disassemble, do you'll disassemble it for cleaning, or just clean it as best as possible without field-stripping. I'd appreciate any tips on cleaning and maintaining this neat little pocket pistol. Thanks.

I field strip mine. Like you, I don't shoot mine often. I put 100 rounds through it when I first bought it and put 50 rounds through it every once in a while. Just don't take off the grips unless you want to deep clean it (not really necessary). Just take the barrel off, clean the barrel, wipe it all down and oil the contact points a little. Really there is only the frame (wipe down), the spring (blow it out a little) and the barrel. If you carry it daily, remember to wipe it off and blow lint out of the barrel often. It really is the rolex of mouse guns!

You mean take the slide off, I think.

I have an Autauga .32 which is quite similar to the Seecamp. Since I don't shoot it often, I field strip after putting a few magazines through it periodically. Sometimes I take the grips off, sometimes not. Really not necessary unless you've put a fair number of rounds through it.

When I haven't shot it in awhile, I take the slide off to get the lint out of various spots and relube.
