Usually 30-45

While I voted 30-45 minutes each, in fact, it depends. I can break down, clean, lubricate and reassemble a 1911 in less than 10 minutes, but, what's the rush? I want to take the time to admire the piece. What I do is ask my wife, "Would it bother you that I clean my gun while we watch the video together"? She always answers, "No". So, in this fashion, I can take my sweet time.

Yeah, I usually clean my guns nice and slow while I'm watching "The Unit," or on Thursdays while I watch "ER" and, ahem, "Grey's Anatomy" with my wife. :D

Hmm.. I would say maybe 15 sounds about right for each of my pop guns. The Mossberg 590 maybe...5, 10... wait I haven't cleaned it yet for the year that I have owned it:neener:

I think over cleaning and frequent disassembly results in extra wear and tear.

I get the crud out and make sure the bore is shiney. Usually about 10-20 minutes. When I buy a new/used gun I totally strip it down, clean and inspect it. This usually takes about an hour depending on how bad it is.
