close call, no CCW on hand

I think you did pretty well, especially in keeping your cool. I'm a little curious about how the punks expected to stop a pickup truck with a Grand Am, but then again, from your description they weren't the brightest pair to begin with (more like candidates for the headline spot on "America's Dumbest Criminals"). Glad to hear you were OK, now go get yourself a CCW permit! ;)

I can see nothing overtly a bad attitude from Mr Pizza. Sometimes you just have to stand up.
That said never be the only one at a gunfight without a gun.
Letting things go often brings on further escalation of bullishness by the offender.
I would not let it go--to blazes with the bad dudes.
Blessings

You're gonna get real tired takin' on the world; its full of young punks just like that ,all of 'em aching for a fight. Is it worth it to lay down the glove every time you are challenged to a duel? Is it worth the price even once? Even if you win?

While in college I worked as a pizza driver for a local company.

I was robbed twice, once at gunpoint while delivering, the other time while I was in the store waiting for my next run.

Had I been carrying, both robbers would be dead. They were arrogant and careless; more concerned with yelling and acting ghetto than watching all of us. But hey....this is MD, the land of no ccw and criminals probably know this.

On the delivery, the dirtbag stuck his gun into my neck so hard I I had trouble swallowing. I was so scared, I'm not sure if this really happened or not now, but at the time I swore that he pulled the trigger and the gun didn't fire. Twice. Then he ran behind the house and into the darkness.

I suspect the thug didn't know he had to chamber a round in order for the gun to fire. This is the way I remembered it while talking to the police immediately after it happened, and it's the way I've always repeated the story. As time goes by, a lot of second guessing occurs, and the memory isn't quite as vivid.

If you have the option to carry and don't, just think of my story and hope that you're as lucky as I was. Screw Pizza Hog's policy.

OK, I work at Pizza Hut as a driver for a second job. Of course, the last page of the employee manual is dedicated to me not having weapons at work. So that means I have no CCW on me wile driving around town in the dark with thier money.

I haven't read ur story yet, but you are going to let some corporate pig define the extent of your safety? lol...

Carry my friend, carry. The job doesn't pay well enough to even remotely start risking your life or wellbeing.

Get deep concealment holster so that your bosses don't see it. Also consider getting a small gun such as Kel-Tec for extra deep concealment.
