I have one , bought it for my son it's a great gun for the kids .
I like larger bore guns so it's not much fun for me but its been reliable and easy to care for ,pretty accurate too.

I've got one too. About all I use it for is an inexpensive plinker. I prefer to shoot my centerfires but the Rough Rider is a lot less expensive to feed. DSCN0421-1.jpg

Heritage guns are inexpensive however function well. Go to their web site and check out their accessories. Reasonable priced holsters and wood display boxes.

Gander Mountain has an alloy RR on sale for $179.99.
For thoes of you in MN or IL a steel frame for $249.00.

You guys are paying too much

I got mine for $110 out the door:neener:! No mag, fixed sights. (but hey its better than that :barf::barf::barf: rg 10 .22 short only :barf:) shoots great and I could not be more happy!:D It makes a GREAT mouse, rat, trail ECT... gun! P.S it already has 2 notches in it!;)

paid around 100 (NIB) for my first 5.5" fixed-sight blued with mag cyl. was so impressed i went out and got it with the 10" barrel with mag cyl for about 120 NIB. i can't think of a single bad thing to say about them. they are a blast for plinking, and the shorter barrel is my absolute go-to snake gun. the longer barrel is a VERY accurate shooter. the shorter is a bit off from point of aim, but very consistently so, and not severely enough that it has any real effect at snake/coke bottle range. certainly not enough to compel me to try to bend the front sight.
