Any interest? I'd like to see what clubs others might have; authentic, homemade, or otherwise with particular interest (on my part) in Native American ball head war clubs. Please be so kind to post them if you have them.
This is my shillelagh:

Here's a nice one by Rich McDonald

I work at night in a convenience store. I have had all kinds of wackos in to visit me. We have a 24" aluminum baseball bat behind the counter. (I also have a Benchmade or CRKT folder and a pepper spray on me.)

These things are to protect ME. If somebody comes in with a gun and asks for money, I'll give it to them.

So far as clubs go, I have a The Club in the trunk of my car, and the key on my keyring. I may or may not ever use it to lock up my car, but it would serve me well in case of zombies. A little short and a lot heavy, but in a short enough fight it'd do just great.

Then one day I was walking through Modell's and saw one of these on sale for like eight bucks. So now I have one of them too.

Thanks kamagong! That is a beaut.

When I was living in California, I carried one of those Cold Steel shovels in the truck and when walking my dog (Why yes, officer, that's to clean up his poop:D)

Likewise, the Club did double duty in the car.

It's nice to be living in a state now that trusts it's citizens to go armed :)

Still a stout walking stick is a good thing.

Bat's too:
Speaking of bats, when I was a kid, there was a bully in the school who thought it was great fun to sneak up behind the smaller kids and yank there pants down. One lunchtime, he picked on the wrong kid. Little guy was playing whiffle ball with some friends, never even tried to pull his pants up, just turned and whacked the bully in the face with one of those skinny yellow whiffle ball bats; instant cry baby. That one swing changed the school yard; kind of a Teddy Roosevelt thing;)

Greg
