CMMG Midlength or BCM Midlength?

The CMMG comes with the charging handle and BCG (about $150 if bought separetely), USGI-style handguards, and is parkerized under the front sight base. Other than that, they appear identical.

I have bought from both companies, and I am completely happy with both. No losers in this choice.

Bravo company has been out of stock on barrels and uppers for over a year. Don't count on getting one any time soon. If they were available though, I'd give them a slight edge in quality on the basis of better barrel steel and proof testing. It's unlikely the average user could tell the difference.

Agree on the testing. It looks like CMMG doesn't High Pressure test the barrels based in the description in the catalog.

But they both use 4150 steel.

I'm going with CMMG in an upcoming build, so maybe I'm biased.

As Telperion has pointed out, the BCM doesn't exist so that should make your decision easy.

I have been very pleased with my CMMG midlength.
