CMMG w/ pistol scope

hello guys just wanted to get your opinion if these set up will work..I already bore sighted it, my plan is just to zero at 25yds to 50yds. Do you guys think it will work??thanks.

It's usually a bad idea to 'straddle' the receiver and forearm. They can move differently as the rifle flexes during firing, causing the mounts to loosen or loose zero.

I'd either move the scope all the way out onto the forearm or use a scope that's completely on the receiver. BSW

Regardless of how sturdy those handguards are, I think it's a bad idea mounting optics on anything other than one continuous rail. Get something like this: http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=40 and you won't have to mount the scope on two split areas. Plus, if you get the mount I linked to, it'll be quick detach.

hello guys thanks for the sound advice, i reinstalled it , I'll boresight it later and maybe try it friday, its still kinda hard to see the whole crosshairs but i think it will do for now,I'll see if one of the shops here have the burris xrings..here is the pics now..again thanks

Parallax may give you problems at ranges over 100 yards.

Can you even get eye relief at that diistance? Seems a little close...

I think your eye relief will be screwed up, and if your CMMG is anything like mine, your barrel will be pitted and un-shootable in a few months time (despite your best efforts to clean it after every range session), and you will never be able to reach CMMG on the phone to even begin rectifying the problem.

That ends my rant on CMMG's poor products, and even poorer customer service follow up.
