CMP ordering question

I recently placed my first order through the CMP. I have received notice of payment and a customer#. I recently came into some more money and would like to purchase another rifle. My question is, is there a way to add to my existing order or will I just need to place a separate order?

There is no way I know of to add to or modify an existing order so you probably have to submit another order. To be sure of course you should contact them and ask. If they tell you differently please let us know. email: [email protected]

Now for the important part, what did you buy and what else are you going to buy???

what's left to buy? they're out of carbines, scraping the bottom of the barrel on garands, they're mostly out of ammo, and our fearless leaders has declined to let any more come home. I'm not trying to poo poo on the cmp, I think they're great and I'm thrilled with the rifles I got from them, but I think their time is about over as a distributor of arms and ammo.

The point: order fast whatever you do.

Yes, they will absolutely add to your order, within a reasonable amount of time. You must call them to set it up and it will likely delay your delivery date a little. The faster you call the better.

I sent them an email last night and this is the response I got this morning.

Sir,

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we cannot add to an order once it
has advanced to the Sales Department. You will need to send in a new order
for any additional items.

They added to mine, but I guess that must have been before it advanced to the actual sales dept.

I sent them an email last night and this is the response I got this morning.

You can't "add" to your order and expect to receive the subsequently ordered rifle(s) at the same time you receive the first rifle you ordered. Subsequent orders will be treated as a separate order. I emailed CMP before ordering two more rifles and received the same written response as .308 Garand did. I ordered a rifle in 3/13 and then another two in 5/13. I received my first order in 7/13 and the second in 9/13.
