Don't know if anyone listens to this late night/early morning radio show, but the host, George Noory, seems very gun friendly. Within the last month John Lott has made two appearances on the show to talk about gun laws. Just this past wednesday John Lott and Joel Beniak were on to talk about the Firearm Freedoms Act. The host has also mentioned the ammo shortage several times. While far from being mainstream media, with topics dealing mainly with the paranormal, UFOs and conspiracies, its still nice to see a national show covering these topics is a friendly way.

When this was hosted by Art Bell years ago it was also very 2A friendly. Art Bell got tired of politics and took the show into the paranormal. He's retired a couple of times, moved to the Philipines, and come back, and ... well, it's a long story.
But most of the hosts that do the show are gun friendly types ... when they get around to it between talking about UFOs and remote viewing.

I'm listening to Coast right now. I enjoy it greatly. Art Bell was awsome and George Noory is very good. They are great showmen. I don't care for the psychic nonsense, but I love the big foot and little people stories.

Okay, having said the above, it's good entertainment; it's a good mix of phantasy and reality, but guests risk losing their credibility when they go on a radio show immediately after John Teeter, the Time Traveler. It's good fun, but it can't be a forum for serious discussion.

I really like Art Bell, wish he would un _ retire again. He was/is a positive gun guy. Haven't listened much in awhile, think I'll tune in.

He's sort of semi-retired and does Sundays now.

Art Bell describes himself as a Libertarian and although I don't recall George Noory making any overt claims one way or the other as to what his leanings are, his opinions on various subjects seem to put him in the Libertarian camp too.

I'd never heard of Coast to Coast AM until I started working a shift that had me leaving work at midnight or after. I listen sometimes for the 15 minutes it takes me to drive home. I have trouble deciding if the host is putting some of the stuff on to make fun of it or if he actually takes it seriously. The ones that usually make me laugh are the alien stories.

I didn't hear much tinfoil crinkling when Lott was on, but there's a shiny aluminum lining on whatever appears on that show anyway. Listener beware.

I listen to C2C nearly every night. I have an old Sony walkman and I'm on the forth set of ear muffs for it. I try to take a nap in the evening so I can stay up till 5am and hear the whole show.

I am an insurance adjuster and I do my job in blocks of time. When there is a storm that damages houses I go off for 2-3 weeks and write up the claims. When I get home I have no other job to do. Thats how I can stay up each night so late.

Art Bell is my favorite. Ross Mitchell took over for Art for a while and really had some good shows. George Knapp is also intertaining. I like George Noory but I get tired of the other worldly shows abut para-normal stuff.

Bigfoots, UFOs, aliens and conspiracies are just fine for me. By the way I saw an UFO. I believe.

I forgot to mention Ian Punnit. His shows seem a little more light hearted. Some of his shows have a religious slant also.

I listen to parts of the show fairly often since I work nights. Besides being 2A friendly, George is also very Obama friendly and a bit of a pushover by his guests. I'm not a fan of his interview or hosting style. I prefer Ian Punnit or Art Bell to host the show.

I agree with those that say Ian is a better host. He's also a minister, which may explain why some of his shows are more religious in topic.

I have trouble deciding if the host is putting some of the stuff on to make fun of it or if he actually takes it seriously.

That's part of what I like about his interview style. He asks questions, but doesn't let his own opinion show and lets the listener decide who is credible and who isn't. I find it a welcome change to the style that is so common on other talk radio and cable news.

Mixing in some gun conversation to take a break from the UFOs, sasquatch, "remote viewing," and ghost shows on coast to coast, isn't exactly helping gun education

I don't think it hurts the cause for gun education, even if it doesn't exactly help. I thought both John Lott interviews were very good, fair and positive. I'd like to see and hear more gun coverage like that.

another good show is Rollye James (XM 158 and online at www.rollye.net)

she is very 2A friendly and used to fill in for Art Bell and had some kind of disagreement with current people there and stopped doing the show

I never liked George on the radio. he seems like a nice guy but he is trying to fake being weird. Art didn't have to fake it.

Been listening to that show off and on for 20 years.
Art had a great sense of humor. George is ok but Art had much better bumper music.

Anyone else think that Ian Punett is a total tool? His personality is just horrible for radio. He starts off his shows just mumbling about nothing. George Noory and George Napp just blow him away. When I listen on stream link, most times I just skip over his shows.

I think George Noory is about as dull as dirt. I used to listed to the show when Art was the host. He was/is as crazy as a bedbug, but he was interesting. George is crazy, but dull.

Funny thing about Noory is how he works the kooks that call in, even the guests. You can hear in his voice he doesn't believe a word of it but he's playin it up for all he's worth. He must bust a gut every time he breaks for commercials.

Tv and radio shows are entertainment based on ratings. People who get wrapped up and follow there favorite political talk show host drive me nuts. Its entertainment folks.

Use to be a talk show host in Denver who freely admitted to saying things to get callers, i.e. ratings. He said he did not believe everything he said on the air but was trying to get people to think. His name was Alan Berg. He was shot to death. RIP Alan.

Generally too late for me. I have listened very occasionally. Art had some good shows.

I always remember Art saying or asking other radio talk show hosts... where do you get your ideas? Goes to show you Art just burnt out and there was nothing more to talk about that was new. I would have burnt out too. Not really putting Art down.
