This is a non profit organization in 17 states. From what I've read, a pretty good association. I guess from time to time, they auction guns ( some long & some hand ) with their logo somewhere on the firearm. I think the guns are donated & the proceeds benefit the association. I came across one of these new at a LGS some years back. How the LGS managed to get it, assuming it was supposed to be an auction item, I don't know. And they have closed their doors. Anyway, bought it. Wondering if anyone here has one of these CCA guns?

Didn't know the CCA was involved in guns at all... They do hold auctions (and solicit donations from businesses) by local chapters in any of the states they're active in. I've been a supporter of CCA for years.. donating fishing trips for auction in three different states. If you'e a coastal angler or interested in the fisheries inshore - they're a group that actually gets things done in the states they're in...

I left Galveston for the desert over 20 years ago but when I lived there I was a member and always entered the big tournament. Back then there was a couple of $100K in prizes and money awarded though I never won anything. I see now the prizes are over $1M. They're a great organization.

I never saw any guns handed out so maybe that's a recent thing. I'd like to have one though. Good find.
