What weight bullet are you casting? I shoot 355gr. bullets in my 480 Ruger.

If you do shoot as planned just claim it was just luck.;) Then next target not so good. You will know the difference. The trigger time is the most important thing with him.

They are 400 grain from a Lee mold. It’s kinda annoying using the cheap molds, but they throw nice bullets. I probably won’t take time to chrono them, but I’d bet they run 1000 from my 7.5 SRH and 1100 from the puma lever gun. 11 grains long shot.

Dads are 245 grain gas check from a nice antique Lyman mold. They have 16gr of blue dot under them so they should be pretty hot. He wanted something to kill pigs with too. I actually didn’t cast his myself, they are left overs from a pile of casting stuff I bought from a mans estate. I do own the mold they came from.
