Not sure that this should go here, but I couldn't find any place concerning .22 rimfire. Just wondering if any folks on this forum collect .22 rimfire ammunition. I've been doing some collecting of full boxes of .22 rimfire for quite some time.

Any of you folks remember these:

Have an older box of IMPERIAL 22 Long Gold like the Mastercraft box. (not real old ammo is in a plastic box in side the cardboard)
from Canadian Industries Limited. (CIL)
(If I can remember where I put it I will get a pic)

Can't for the like of me remember where/when I got it and why I never shot it.

I've got some Federal .22LR that is loaded with rock salt, that I got from my Dad about 60 years ago, I remember shooting it in a JC Higgins single shot .22 in order to shoot rats back by the chicken coop in our back yard in a little village back in N/E Wisconsin.

I have a "collection" of old 22 Short ammo that my brother gave me to sell. I accepted an offer for the entire collection and have now misplaced the box it was in. So I guess I flunked Collecting 101.

I have an old box of Monark 22 shorts and a box of Peters 22 longs I found in my grand dad's garage after he passed.
