I like the idea, but an ugly European revolver?

If we're talking about tactical Tupperware, how about a Glock and a black spork?

(btw, not a Glock flame)

As everyone pointing out...I can retouch it to look like a spork, change the caption or just ignore it. Suggestions?

Doesn't really matter if it's a spork or not, people will get the message. Do you have any pictures like this around 500x500? I want to use one as a picture signature (if it's okay, of course) on another web site, but all the ones of yours I've seen are too big.

The funniest thing is, we issue sporks to the most dangerous inmates in the world...
I agree a normally available revolver might be a better visual, but I like the idea.

What is the reasoning behind the blurred face?

BTW, I like the caption, but I'd change the firearm to something a bit more modern...And put a spork in there.:)

Why not just say "forks"?
It sounds the same to me.
I mean, "spork" is a significantly more ridiculous word, so it kinda pushes the message through more, but not by much.
All up to Oleg.

In my opinion the model seems a little off. Dress her in a more college like apparel and use a more modern handgun. I also suggest that you try to imply that the campus police are the ones who are meant to solve problems but they are not often there.

The revolver is Montenegrin 11.75mm Gasser. Quite common once and visually interesting.

I'll think about the spork issue.

500x500 -- pick the image I provided and resize it.

I have a version with modern outfits and gun, already posted it. Might be able to make more.

I don't get the plastic "spork" reference. It's supposed to refer to a university setting -- not KFC, right? Even at state college we had real stainless silverware in the school cafeteria. ;)

Blurred model looks a little too "emo" in that outfit, IMO.

But it's still a GREAT message regardless!!!

Nice poster, but wrong pistol. I think a slim compact 9mm would be a better choice for a female college student. Just MHO.

agreed...EXCELLENT THEME

delivery needs some touch up:

make it an actual spork, i love that reference. Change the gun to a modern, American revolver. I really like the blurred model, it keeps the focus on the message and not on a hot face...however she does look a little bit on the sinister side with the layman-Nazi revolver and the garb. and plastic spork strikes me as redundant.

I know that's a lot of constructive criticism for one post but it is a GREAT poster idea and I'd hate to see it used and some anti say something about how the girl etc.

The blurring and color combination pretty much made me cross eyed when trying to read the upper line. Bottom ones were fine though.

Of course, I've got bad vision, I'm slightly color blind, and I've had a glass of merlot, so take my visual feedback with a grain of salt.

It would be nice to see some college CCW posters that reminded folks that not all college students are 18 year olds. Folks in their 40's go back from time to time.

Sporks are actually the best implement for shovelling rice into your mouth. I'd like to find someone that carries metal ones.

I have to agree with modernizing the gun and an older looking model. 22-26 range. Too young a look implies you want 18 year olds to be able to carry, and while that would be nice (since they can fight in the army with the fun toys), it won't mesh easily with the average person who actually contemplates the issue instead of knee-jerking. A more mature look can help people realize that some of these young adults are actually mature enough to handle a gun responsibly, and thus the "OMG, they'll put someones eye out" argument gets thrown out the window.

I don't think the "young" look is bad, it just needs be slightly more professional.
