I have a Forster bullet puller. Does anyone know if any other manufacturer's collets will fit in it? RCBS looks very similar but I couldn't swear to it.

Next question... Curious if I can load .38/.357 with 9mm expanding, seating and FCD (acknowledging the 9mm FCD will apply a taper crimp). Someone told me this was possible, and it makes some sense other than the dies being too shallow.

No idea if an RCBS collet will fit a Forster bullet puller.
But I doubt it.

As for the other question.
Sure you can, if you want .356" dies crimping on your carefully chosen and expensive .357 bullets.

The OD of a taper-crimped 9mm case is .376".

The OD of a roll crimped .38/.357 is .379".

Crimping in a 9mm die will squeeze the .357" bullets undersize for the bore of the revolver.

Time to buy the right dies now, and save yourself some problems later!

I have a Forster, the collet for the Forster is shorter than the RCBS. I also have the RCBS and the one 'with no name'. The No name puller and the RCBS share the same collets. I have another puller that uses the short collet, it is not a Forster.
