Does anyone happen to know if Hornady made or makes another collet style bullet puller similar to the RCBS collet style puller? I picked up what appears to be a Hornady bullet puller but it has no markings on it other than #9 on the actual collet. I can post post a photo tomorrow if needed. Thanks.

There's the Hornady Cam-Lock bullet puller which uses collets. #9 is for 35 caliber bullets; 9x19, .38spl, .357mag, .358Win, etc.

It works very well for rifle bullets but for certain styles of pistol bullets an impact puller is a better option. And it definitely isnt a good option for cast bullets, it WILL mangle them.

Thank you, but I have one of the cam-lock pullers. Here are a couple photos of the one I was curious about. It may not be Hornady, I was guessing as much due to the style of nut used to hold the die in the press. Thanks again!

Ahhh.... Probably a Pacific Tool collet puller. I would bet that Hornady collets will fit it. If no one else here bas any knowledge about it, it might not be a bad idea to call Hornady and ask them about it.

You're correct, the Hornady collets do fit. The cam lock is also interchangeable. Thanks!
