Yep. It used to be 3 points where I hunt quite successfully and now with 5 points I have not drawn. Another year...

I drew the blackpowder tag I was hoping for. The new changes, regarding the old 'statewide' tag that has now been chopped up into specific units/unit groups, paid off for me and the areas I hunt. I knew that almost nobody hunts the muzzleloader season in my parts, but I was constantly having to compete for that dang statewide tag just to hunt there in the BP season. Now that it is in its own smaller designation, I should have a much better chance of hunting it, each and every muzzleloader season. And now that they offer an either-sex tag (what I drew), it'll be hard not to fill the freezers.
