It was the local Fox 21 news at 9 broadcast, they even had robbery detectives on camera telling people to "communicate and cooperate".:barf: :barf:

Zundfolge,

You said you would not cooperate, but you would certainly communicate,

Let me guess, you'll use Mossberg Morse Code?

Nope ... I communicate with Cyrillic writing (Saiga12).

My daughter lives down there. She is a Gunsite graduate.

I suspect her Glock 19 will "do her talking" in the event.

Idiots.

Anyway, I don't know about "cooperate" but I do intend to "communicate" with a home invader pretty clearly

Communications will commence on the .45acp frequency if someone invades my house. I will of course suggest that they leave the house before the hostilities really begin. Other than that I would like to avoid having to shoot someone.

Please remember guys that the news station would be liable if they suggested getting a firearm or using a deadly weapon to defend yourself.

If this story was about the home invasions in the 3900 block of Broadmoor Valley Road, thats not the hood ... hell, that's not even close to the hood.

That's smack dab in the middle of an area full of high end homes, condos and the Colorado Springs Country Club. I live in a pretty nice neighborhood here in The Springs and I can't afford to live in the area these home invasions happened in (twice at the same house).

 The news people are actually doing us a favor. When Hillary, Obama, or Gulianni ban all our guns, we have to know the proper way to defend ourselves against the bad guys who have guns. I know you can talk down any bad guy, no matter how sick or tripped out he is, just by talking to him nicely and giving him what he wants because I saw it in a movie.

Okay, so much for sarcasm. Someone breaks in, the only talking is going to be done to the police by the resident with the 40cal, explaining what happened and why there's a chalkline on the floor.

Headline in todays Gazette Newspaper mentioned the high number of CCW permits in El Paso County.
We don't get all our news and information from the Television.

And there was a pro ccw segment on the Colorado Springs radio station AM740 today.

Friend of mine plans to offer home invaders a smoke....flying ashtrays first! :D

I will also defend home and family. Don't want to, but I WILL.

Mark.

Get a German Shepherd Dog and train that dog to turn his nose on to smell anywhere you want him to. www.leerburg.com. Let him go before you in your house to sniff out the BG. you follow up behind with your nice remington 870 shotgun with a nice bright light.

This really surprises me! Colorado Springs has such a large population of active and retired military personal, and they certainly would not hesitate to defend themselves with a firearm.

The media is so full of folks who don't represent the feelings of the mass of folks in the city, is my take on this.
