They are basically the same as the 80 Series guns with the 80 Series parts removed and a laser engraved rollmark. The rollmarks are not exactly the same as a 60's Commercial Colt. The top gun in this pic is a 1960 era Colt. The lower one is a Colt Classic O1911C On the other side of the slide the rollmarks are completely wrong for a 60's Colt. They come with a National Match Barrel which is nice on paper. I personally can't out shoot a standard factory Colt barrel but its a nice feature on a gun at this price point. Mine shoots very well. If you fitted a match bushing to one of these they would tighten up even more. These are basically replacing the 70 Series Productions. They are not as nicely finished as the 70 series Repros. Those guns had polished flats and the edges weren't as sharp. They were not dehorned but got a little more attention IMHO. These O1911Cs are cheaper. They have sold for as low as $655 + shipping & transfer.
Great gun enjoy it.
