colt 1911 RIA, M&P, Glock< ?

is it worth spending the 390 on a colt 1911 RIA, plus the 70 dollar FFL charge. for a NIB.

I live in california.

Ive got my neos u.22, my sig p225 9mm single stack, and now im looking to start geting into IDPA and better range shooting, with a near slight intent to protect.

ive been looking at the colt RIA,

m&p 9m, and .45

Glock 17 and the 32 i think.

Can everyone give me there input.

is it a bad thing when a gun is so light.

The Rock Island 1911s are very reliable; I have two. My RIA slides are fit tighter than my Colt 70 series reproduction and 1991a1. I believe they're the best kept secret. I shoot them both more than I do my Colts and Ed Brown Special Forces.
