I'm a big compact 45 fan, have several. I saw a colt 1991a1 compact didn't know there was such a gun. Anybody have any experience or imput ? priced at $750 2 mags & case 150 rounds fired how does this fall in pricing ?
By compact do you mean 4.25" Commander compact, or 3" Officer/Defender/Agent compact? Price sounds kinda high for the commander, but maybe right for the 3"ers. Blue or stainless?
Really need a photo or description of condition to kinda weather gauge pricing... which also depends on location as CA prices are a bit higher than AZ or NV or OR prices if ya know what I mean.
Compact .45s and springs and timing and such... always interesting dynamics.
Its not the defender and I don't think its a commander. They show a 1991A1 compact in blue book. I did a little searching seems they had some issues with the barrell bushing. pics are on www.armslist.com in tennessee "craigslist for guns" I have a new computer (1 day old) and can't figure out how to use it
I have a chance at a full size 1991A1 with box and paper, only 500 rds thru it, for $550, sounds like a good price, I think I will buy it, the seller bought it brand new a few years ago for $500
I have one too. I got 100 rds through mine . I got it new in 1995 and its been great . I had one FTF and I think it was from limp wristing it .
I may end up putting a Metal MSH in it since it has a plastic one in it . Maybe a Wilson Combat MSH.
Defender is a nice carry pistol . Colt is suppose to make the New Agent as a DA only . I held one a couple tears ago and couldn't pull the trigger Made a Walthers PPK seem like a hair trigger. I guess that's why their just now running ads them. Must have fixed the trigger least I hope they did.
I also got one in about 1995 for $350.00 GREAT little shooter, easy to conceil and was very reliable with good mags which at that time were hard to find. It actually did work well with the standard colt mags. I ended putting a good trigger on it and then got an offer of $650.00 so sold it for a profit. Now I have a Kimber CDP Ultra II which I love.
