Need a smith that can work on old timey Colt pocket pistol.
Worked great until it was dropped(unloaded) from a bench on hard surface floor.
Slide can be racked but gun not cocked.
As it has sentimental value really would like it fixed and will ship anywhere in US.

Anyone who calls himself or herself a gunsmith should be able to fix that gun. Check the phone book or on-line yellow pages.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I tried a local gunsmith who looked at it and said he had no experience with early auto's,its an early model pre mag safety.

If the firing pin is the problem, there is a dealer on Ebay selling "Colt 25 Pocket Auto Firing Pins", $20 for stainless steel or $30 for titanium (!) with free shipping. If they are for the 1908 and not the Colt Junior, maybe the "gunsmith" you talked too would change his mind. There are very few repeating pistols simpler than a Colt 25.

Where are you at? I'm thinking there's a burr on it as a result of the drop.
