Colt C.S. Turn Around Time

I sent in a new Colt Series 70 for a lot of work around the end of September. I was told around 4 -6 months (IIRC) and was wondering if any members have had any recent Colt custom shop work done - and if so - what was the turn around time. I haven't bothered them since I sent it in, but I am getting......antsy. But, I also don't want to rush their work, so....

Anyone have any recent Colt work done?

Last time I sent anything in to Colt was in early 2010. I sent in a Three Fifty Seven for a refinish back to the deep Royal Blue. Out and back from colt took about 4-6 weeks. However, mine was a refinish only, not a ton of custom work.

Update

I emailed Colt about my 1911 that they received in late September of 2011.

I am now told that the 4-6 month turn around time has been changed to 10 months minimum......

Just giving folks a "FYI".

Bout 3 months ago I sent my Rail Gun in to have a factory error blemish removed, got a letter a few weeks later saying it would take 4 to 6 months- had it back in 4 to 6 weeks. Very happy with their service. (But I wasn't having custom gunsmithing done.)
