Is a Colt carrying handle take off okey to use on my Palmetto State Armory upper with a F marked FSB? I read somewhere that Colt uses non F marked FSB on their M4 such as the 6920 in the past.
You will be fine using a detach carry rear sight with an F marked front sight. The F marked is designed for flat top upper receivers. The standard front sight post would sometimes be screwed out too far with flat top sights so the post was not sufficiently threaded in and could fall out.
