At my age and with my eyesight I'm certainly no marksman, but the 1991 LW Commander in .45 is a dream to shoot.

16 rounds, offhand, WWB hardball at about 25 feet.

not sure where you were aiming, looks centered for elevation. the rule of thumb is move rear sight in the direction you want the impact to go. get a brass punch first, these can fit very tight in the dovetail.

nice shooting. although a steel frame fan myself, the feel of a commander seems better to me than govt and tends to be more reliable than most >4" 1911 offerings. the ideal length.

i see serations beneath the wrap-arounds, is this a stock item?
