I've got a barrel that I want to install in my Colt DA .41 (made in 1900). The barrel is blue, the Colt is nickel plated. Does anyone know who can do the job? Thanks for any info provided.

I assume the nickel plate is factory original. If it is not, you might be better off to have it removed and have the whole gun blued. I have done that on a few guns that either had non-original plating or had peeling plating, and they turned out very well.
To answer your question, any reasonably competent gunsmith should be able to install the barrel. But assuming you don't want a "two tone" gun, I guess that you also want the barrel nickeled, and that requires a specialty shop.
I don't vouch for him, but his prices seem reasonable and you might call; I am sure he would also install the barrel at a reasonable price after bluing it. You can check with a local plating shop, but I would prefer to use a gun plating specialist and send the whole gun. The reason is that if you would prefer to leave the original finish alone and just have the barrel plated, you want the barrel plating to match the rest of the gun and all nickel plating is not the same.
Some previous owner, in their infinite wisdom, cut off half the barrel. I suppose that was to make it into a pocket pistol. Sure screwed it up though.
