Colt MK IV Series 70 date of manufacture

Anyone know when this pistol may have been manufactured? I've looked on a couple of websites and have not come up with a definitive date or date range. I'll call Colt directly if I can't figure this out in here. Thanks.

Call Colt they will tell you.

The "71" indicates it's a reproduction model, not an original. So it's been made in the last few years. I believe that low number would indicate near the beginning of manufacture, so likely 2003/2004.
