Have to share - new Colt SAA!X

Have to tell someone -- Just ordered a new Colt SAA .45, blue, CCH with 4.75 barrel. Didn't really want to make the purchase, but I recently also ordered a Blackhills Leather custom rig and needed something to fill the holster.

Buying a gun to fill a holster makes perfect sense to me, as does buying a gun because you found a set of dies on sale, as does... Well, I once bought a gun just because it was cute; another time, I bought a gun because I'd driven all the way to the gun shop, and didn't want to go home empty-handed: didn't want to waste gasoline, you know?

Yep, bought a gun once because I left mine at home leaving on a hunting trip. Bought another one to hack off my wife once. The funny part was, she figured I did it for that reason and was bound and determined not to show she was pissed. Worked out pretty darn well!

I recently picked up a new SAA at a gun show for a price I couldn't refuse. The thing is beautifully made and shoots to point of aim right out of the box which really surprised me. A great gun and one I'll hand down to the kids.
