I rarely post pics of new acquisitions anymore, but I'm pretty excited about this one. It was manufactured in 1940. The craftsmanship that went into this .22 caliber revolver is all but lost now. More info here. Enjoy.
Very nice! I have a 1941 Officer's Model Target with Roper target grips and I agree about the quality of these revolvers. Mine does not have each chamber in the cylinder numbered however.

The numbering most probably was done by the owner, not people at the factory. Chamber numbering is like magazine numbering: the kind of thing bullseye shooters do in the endless pursuit of accuracy.
