Colt Pocket 9 Eval/Opinion ??

I've always lusted after the Pocket 9, but now that I have something which fills that niche, I don't lust after it quite so badly. I still want one some day but it's moved down the list.

Not too steal the thread, but you guy's remember that we also have a COLT
(all steel) blued Mustang .380 ACP, in 'bout 95% NRA condition that we need
to move~! No box, or doc's with this one that I know of; and the price is a
wee bit higher at $450. These are very hard too come by, especially in the
Colt Lightweight version; as is the Colt Pocket Nine~! ;)

Too bad, too sad.

Hey ak-kev, how would you compare your Pocket Nine to your Kel-Tec? Trigger pull? Recoil? Compactness? Etc.? I've been THINKING about getting one of them as well.

Hey Alan, I like my Keltecs very much. Ive never had any issues with mine. I have the P32, the P-11, and the PF9. The top one pictured is the PF9 and it has a sweet trigger (compared to the other Keltecs) and is a real nice pistol. It is however a real handfull at the range. My hand starts to hurt after 40-50 rds. The bottom picture is the P-11. It is the 14oz, 13shot 9mm. Its incredible. Again, no issues with this one either. The trigger on the P-11 is MUCH longer and heavier than the PF9. So, overall, I like them and they serve their purpose well, which was to help keep the Colts in the safe more. They (keltecs) were initially bought to replace the Colt Pocket 9 in weekend carry duties. I do like them, but they cant compare to the Colts. Kevin.

If nobody grabs it and if the price is right, I'll be interested after the Christmas bills are paid -- late January / early February of next year ;)

I know of a Pocket Nine that has an action job by Matt Gish (of 1911 HRT fame) and is slick!! Box, papers, four mags & is for sale. PM me for more info.
