Colt Trooper III Grips

Did Hougue Overmolded style or rubber grips for a Colt Trooper III? I found some Pachmyer grips, but they just don't do it for me. I want finger grooves!

Sorry, Hogue never made rubber grips for the Trooper Mark III series.

As far as I know, only Pachmayr ever made any rubber models for it.

If you can use wood, you have some choices.
Probably the best feeling wood grips for the Mark III are the Hogue models.

nice piece of Zebra wood grips, I don't think I ever saw finger notched grips for the Trooper, too big a flare in the frame and not enough room.

Anything is better than the plow handle that came on them, even goodyears. Cruise ebay, LOTS of grips there to look at.

I've never seen good factory stocks on a Colt revolver. I have no idea how the company so consistently managed to stock its guns with second-rate wood in third-rate designs.

SW, that pretty much sums up my thoughts on Colt revolver grips too, even the premium Python had horrible grips on it from the factory.

I saw a GP100 in a local shop that has some sweet looking wood/rubber grips on it. I would love to have a set like these. I guess I need to buy a new pistol!
