The time has come to pick up a Colt pistol for my son. Looking at the approved Colts for sale in CA
fire, I have several options, all of which are .45 ACP:
XSE in SS
XSE in Blue
1991 Series 80 in SS (matte)
1991 Series 80 in Blue
1991 Custom (Model 01991AR)
1991 Custom (Model 01991Z)
My first choice would be a 70 series repro, but they're not allowed out here.
Now my question for you Colt gurus, what are those last two? I dug up a picture of the 1991Z custom, but I cannot find any references to the AR custom. Colts own website doesn't even mention it.
Any help would be appreciated.
