I will be instructing a 2 day rifle/carbine class at Cedar Ridge range in North San Antonio on the 8th & 9th of December. This class is being offered at a discounted price of $200. The course starts off with a refresher on the basics and then quickly moves on to more advanced level instruction and drills. This course has had outstanding reviews from highly experienced shooters, using our pre-test, train, re-test method; we have been able to document student performance improvements from 160% to as much as 630% improvement.

Attached is the course details and information.

My Bio: over 10 years in the US Army Infantry, 2 deployments to Iraq, instructor duty with First Army TF-SARG as an advanced weapons and marksmanship instructor. Unit level MACP and small unit tactics instructor. Medically retired due to injuries sustained during last deployment to Iraq in 2008. I have personally trained thousands of deploying soldiers, assisted in writing and modifying several of the weapons and marksmanship programs currently being used to train deploying soldiers (i.e. SDM, APRM & Sniper sustainment programs). I hold several Instructor level certifications from the US Army and local and state law enforcement agencies in tactics, weapons and hand to hand combatives.

Quicklike question:

The "immersion" bit, how are you incorporating that in a (presumably) mixed audience of LE, private citizen, and .mil shooters? How is it different from a "non-immersion" course?

[edit]
Oh yeah, just saw this, why a pistol test beforehand?

I am curious, since all of my training has come from just one instructor, so I like seeing how others handle courses.
