Nom what would you consider shoot a little I want a handgun that I can easily carry and shoot on a regular basis I want to be very familiar with it.

Well, c0unt zero certainly did your homework for you when it comes to specifications. Very nice of him and I thank him also as it saved me some time. What can you shoot on a regular basis? All guns eventually have durability issues. When you get to designs like the PF-9 it is unrealistic to think they will be as durable as something like a Glock 26 which is just a cut-down version of the very durable Glock 17. You have to remember they are firing the same cartridge and the stress of that has to be absorb. The mass of all the main parts of the gun are going to be more durable if larger than and of similar material as a smaller gun. I think for almost the price of one G26 you can buy two PF-9s. One to carry and one to practice with. That works for me. I guarantee you will find it much easier to carry a PF-9 in all attire than a G26. Depending on your pants size you will find a PF-9 much less of a bump and lump in your pocket. A G26 is difficult for most to comfortably and discretely carry in a pant pocket. Same is true in a coat pocket. The main point is carry a gun comfortably and discretely, and don't buy a gun you find a PITA to carry that you often leave at home.

Right now, if I wanted a "new" pocket rocket, I would probably get the Sig in single action or the shield in double action. It depends which you prefer. I have neither, but I have a PM9 in my pocket all of the time, I used to alternate between the PM9 and the XDS, and sometimes opt for the XDS, only because it's a 45. One less round, but again it's a 45. It recoils no more than my 9mm. I sometimes carry both, and always carry 2 spares for the PM9. I can't carry 2 for the XDS also, "it's just too much stuff, and too heavy.
I am looking at mid to larger frame guns again, the 3 that interest me are the P30 LEM light, in 9mm, with the 4.7 lb dbl action trigger it can be shot very fast. The CZ P01 Tactical, "similar to the P01, the slide is a bit hard to pullback on the cz's for my hands, if under pressure of a reload", And 2 or 3 different sigs, from the 229, MK 25 and m11-a1. There are a lot of sigs to look at, including the 1911, scorpions. But I think I am leaning towards the P30.But honestly a Glock 19 would also work, Just for the 14-17 rounds these guns provide without carrying 2 or more mags around for a smaller gun. If you can hide a shield, it's not that hard to hide a compact like the glock or p30, just no more pocket carry which stinks. I would have to choose what I was wearing more.
And have a real holster rather than a remora, for IWB again. I tried to get away from this, but we had 3 robberies in 1 day in my development, and one was a home invasion.
So for the way it looks like crime is going up, and the amount of perps are increasing, I may go with a gun that holds more rounds rather than 6 or 7. My old Glocks are just too big, it's a dilemma.

For $300 or less you do not have a lot to work with in a "NEW" gun, but used is another matter. SCCY CPX2 is not a bad gun for that price range new , as is the SAR B6c in 9mm for $299, a CZ clone made in Turkey that is a real quality gun.

I have not shot the SCCY 2 9mm pistol but have read great reviews from reliable sources that give it a vey good rating. I have seen them at gun shows recently going for $265. I have handled them and they look solid and feel good in the hand. I have a SAR B6 and it is finished better than my CZ $600 gun and shoots just as good too. The SAR is made by a Turkish arms company called Sarsilmaz. It has been making guns since 1880 and makes Turkish military guns as well as well as sporting guns. They are new to the American market and are building a good reputation for their guns. The ones I have shot and seen are good solid guns. You can see the SAR B6 with polymer frame on Gunbroker for $299. Also read the reviews on websites and get some info on them there.

The SAR B6c has a 3.8" barrel and weighs about 26 ounces unloaded. I think it is about 7.3" long. They feel great in the hand as they are a CZ clone. Mine has the 4.5" barrel and after paying only $299 for it, there is no reason for me not to like it. Actually it is polished and finished better than my CZ 75 both inside and out. I have shot more then a thousand rounds through it without a hiccup with any ammo too, here at my farm range.

EDC

I have the Boberg 9MM Shorty, and have nothing to say but great things about the reliability and accuracy. Granted, the ammunition is an important factor, as it has a completely unique "claw" design, that will not function well with ammo with no or a light crimp. If you look at the dimensions of the pistol, you'll note that the barrel size is much greater(3.35') than other pistols of that size, due to the design of the pistol. High accuracy, low recoil, and dead on reliability, when using approved ammunition. But...it's pricey!
