Compare the S&W CS40 to the Kahr MK40?

I posted this on GT, but haven't gotten any responses. A LEO friend of mine is looking for off-duty carry gun and interested in a CS40 (he carries a SIG 229 on duty), but isn't really that knowledgeable on concealed carry. I recommended the MK40 to him, but am interested in finding out if anyone has handled, shot, or carried both has any input? I had a PM40, but can honestly say while it is great for carry, I think I would like the added weight of the MK40. My friend is not of the polymer mindset...

I have owned both but at different times so my comparison may not be totally fair

I preferred the Khar on this one. The sw felt a bit akward in my big hands and the recoil was about the same and the accuracy was close on both. Although I have never been a fan pf the Khar since my forst one would not hit a feedbag at 20 yards.... but this one was as accurate as the smith if thats saying anything.
