I would like your opinion on each of three pistols and compare them to each other.
1. Bernardelli P-10NE 9mm
2. Stoeger Cougar 9mm
3. Bersa Thunder 9 high capacity 9mm

He didn't ask about a Beretta Cougar.

He ask about a Stoeger Cougar.

Beretta sold the Cougar design & tooling about two - three years ago due to continuing poor sales & problems with some of them.

The Stoeger Cougar is made in Turkey, or Pakistan, or some place now.

I have no idea whether they are better or worse then when Beretta gave up on them.

I have a Stoeger Cougar 8000 that is my "truck" carry gun. Mostly due to cost of replacement if it is stolen or damaged. I am on rough ground daily in the course of building material sales and development with a realtor partner. 2,000 rounds to date in .40 S&W without a hiccup. Trigger has smoothed out nicely and as the mag release is the same as the 92/96, I am ordering an extended Elite II mag release today to change out. Only improvement other than that would be a set of Hogue rubber panel grips, but they don't make them. Wood grips are the only alternative if you don't want the plastic. In the heat here, I'll keep the plastic and miss the rubber grips. BTW Beretta owns Stoeger, same tooling and finish that I can see so far. Great choice in 9mm as well.

the stoeger cougar is the same as the beretta cougar. beretta owns stoeger. the others are clones.

Own a Stoeger Couger 9mm (actually have 2)... has been a great, flawless shoot for under $400... very accurate, all metal 'heavy-gun feel', tear-down/cleanup very simple! Mine has over 1000+rnds, ZERO problems!!! Bought one for my daughter (HP), loved it but after 300-rnds thought it was 'too heavy' and now wants a lighter 'polygun' (so its for sale in the Classifieds!)... IMHO, its a great, durable gun for the $$!
