Excellent question, thanks.
There are three 4 ft. horizontal pipes - Top front, center back, lower front.
Then, there are two 1 ft. long side pipes connecting the front uprights to the center back pipe.
Start on the front lower pipe. Drape a little bit of the sheet onto that, allowing the remainder of the sheet to fall "inside" the trap. Secure it with the foam pipe wrap. Make certain that it is perfectly centered left to right (You'll know why shortly.)
Drape the sheet so it makes a fold (Pocket) nearly touching the ground, inside of the center back pipe. Let the excess fall behind that pipe. Again make certain that it is perfectly centered left to right. Secure that using the foam pipe wrap. Take the excess horizontal sheet on the left side, bring the edge of the sheet to the front pipe, securing it to the one ft. long side pipe and secure it to that pipe with the foam pipe wrap. Repeat this for the other side. Now you've formed sort of a catcher's mitt (both sides are now blocked by the sheet).
Pull the sheet from behind the center horizontal pipe, up to the top horizontal pipe. Allow several inches to hand in front of the pipe, and secure the sheet to that top pipe using the foam pipe wrap.
Refer to the images on the Instructables website. The original design calls for sewing "pockets" (like a curtain rod pocket), but that can be skipped using the foam pipe wrap cut to size. There was a comment from someone about using a "Swim Noodle" for the purpose of deflecting rebounds hitting the pipe, my idea allows the use of any falt sheet, no sewing, still has the rebound protection, yet allows it to be portable.
It will take me a few weeks before I can save up enough of my "allowance" money (LOL) to buy the pipes, connectors, sheet, etc. to make this project, (I'll be buying the 30 lb. of marbles first!) When I do, I'll photo the steps and post it.
