Watching the effective protests against proposed immigration bill has me wondering why we, as firearm owners, are not doing the same thing to restore our taken(not lost, we know where they've gone) firearm rights and privacy of ownership. I suppose this is more directed at Californians rather than the rest of the "free" world. I cannot believe how effective these protests have been- if nothing more than an attention getting technique. They're listening to **illegals**, how much more would they listen to us if we were able to stage peaceful protests. I believe we are authorizing the incremental grab by boarding on silence. It's not the ACLU and other power groups(like the NRA) that they're catering to, it's the people. The millions of firearm owners have some influence without relying on the NRA/GOA, etc. to do the dirty work.
