This may have been discussed before. If I am traveling from my home state-Michigan-through states that have reciprocal CPL license agreements with Michigan, are there any problems with having the pistol in the vehicle?? If stopped, is the procedure the same with notifying law enforcement that a weapon is in the vehicle or on my person? All the states I will pass through have reciprocal agreements with Michigan about carrying. Just wondering.
Thanks!

Actually the answer is NO. There are no problems with having the gun in the car, with a recognized permit.

Some states do not require you to inform the officer. If you want to ensure that you are following any law that might exist, just give them your CCW permit with your driver's license and inform them of the gun.
