After reading a recent thread about .308 Prvi Partizan Match (FMJ BT 175grn) i was pretty concerned about my recent purchase of almost 200 round of it. Turns out i was correct to be concerned.

I shot it using a Rem 700 26" Varmint on a harris bi-pod with a bushnell 3200 10x scope. The gun/I consistantly shoot .7 to .8 moa (it still has the sps stock) with this set up and Fed GGM ammo. The prvi shot 3-4 moa, i cant believe it could be so bad. Overall it was VERY inconsistant.

Changed nothing other than ammo, used pvri:

Its too bad really, considering the prvi is half the price of the fed, but oh well, guess this is the reason.

That confirms that your rifle doesn't like that particular load. It could easily be a different story in another rifle.

Jimmy - Yes, you are correct. Some rifles may do ok with it, however as you can see in that other thread...many do not.

seems kinds funny all the federal groups are 3 shot and the privi are 5 shot or more.. there are rifles that shoot the stuff good though

But most must agree FGMM is liked by many many rifle:D
